On Dec 8th 2014, TSC-CIMI Raffles Coordinating Office was formally set up in Yantai CIMC Offshore Engineering Research Institute (“CIMC Offshore Institute”).

The office gained great supports from the senior executives of both sides, who reached consensus after many in-depth discussions that technology is the source of cost control and bilateral technology cooperation should be enhanced together by using respective advantages from the early configuring stage. Setting up the coordinating office is one of entry points for implementing the mutual in-depth cooperation.

On Dec. 16th, TSC’s Chairman Mr. Binghua Jiang and CEO Mr. Morgan Zhang, leading other senior executives, visited to CIMC Offshore Institute and attended bilateral middle and top level management meeting. After the meeting, TSC delegation went to see the new office. Mr. Jiang pointed that the coordinating office is not only for coordinating purpose, but also a window for TSC to entry more comprehensive and deep technical and commercial cooperation with Raffles. With the deepening cooperation going further, TSC will send more professionals from related departments to take further discussion and positively push forward mutual cooperation with R&D, design, marketing and procurement teams of Raffles to enhance mutual partnerships.
